Design Engineer

Job Description

*Only Candidates who are located in coimbatore or ready to relocate can apply Role & responsibilities Prepare GA, SLD, wiring diagrams, and termination diagrams. Design control circuits and power distribution layouts using Solid works/ EPLAN. Conduct testing and performance evaluation of prototypes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure that design requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle. Prepare detailed design documentation, including design specifications, drawings, and technical manuals. Maintain accurate records of design changes, revisions, and version control. Continuously improve design processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and innovation. Incorporate feedback from testing, validation, and field performance to iteratively refine designs. Provide technical support to customers and internal teams regarding design-related inquiries and issues. Select suitable components (switchgears, relays, contactors, etc.) based on customer and project requirements. Coordinate with purchase or vendors for technical specifications. Assisting in preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects with accurate specifications and quantities. Monitor and manage the panel assembly team and Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure panels are assembled as per design. Address and rectify wiring or design issues, oversee panel testing procedures and ensure functional testing is completed. Provide support for site testing or commissioning if required. Maintain production records, test reports, and quality checklists.
