Design Engineer & Draftsman

Design Engniner & for Draft ITI Diploma in drafting /CAD Hand on Electrical Drafting.

Responsibilities:
Electrical Drafting & Design:Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and single-line diagrams (SLDs) using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).Translate design specifications, calculations, and engineering concepts into precise and compliant technical drawings.Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant industry standards, electrical codes (e.g., IS, NEC), and company drafting guidelines.Assist in the design and layout of electrical systems for various projects (e.g., industrial, commercial, residential, specific to your industry).Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with Electrical Engineers, Project Managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and resolve design discrepancies.Incorporate feedback and revisions from engineering and project teams into drawings.Maintain clear and organized documentation of all design changes and revisions.Technical Accuracy & Quality:Perform thorough self-checks and review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to technical specifications.Assist in preparing Bill of Materials (BOMs) and cable schedules from drawings.Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting processes and standards.Documentation & Record Keeping:Maintain an organized system for all project drawings, files, and related documentation.Prepare and update "as-built" drawings as required.Qualifications:Education: ITI Diploma in Draftsmanship (Electrical/Mechanical) or a relevant field.Experience: [Specify number] years of hands-on experience in electrical drafting using CAD software.Technical Skills:Mandatory: Proven proficiency in AutoCAD (especially AutoCAD Electrical for electrical drafting).Strong understanding of electrical symbols, terminology, and standard drafting practices.Ability to read, interpret, and create complex electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
