Design Engineer (AV CAD Designer)

As a Design Engineer (AV CAD Designer), you will be part of our team responsible for creating and implementing innovative audiovisual (AV) designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will collaborate with project teams to develop detailed AV system designs that meet client requirements and industry standards. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with project teams to understand client requirements and develop AV system designs using CAD software. You will create detailed schematics, layouts, and equipment specifications for audio, video, and control systems. Additionally, you will generate accurate CAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, equipment rack layouts, and wiring diagrams, ensuring all designs adhere to project specifications and industry best practices. To excel in this role, you will need to stay updated with the latest AV technologies, products, and industry trends. Your technical expertise will be crucial in recommending appropriate AV equipment, configurations, and solutions based on client needs and project requirements. Collaboration and coordination with internal teams, project managers, engineers, and technicians will be essential to ensure seamless integration of AV systems. Quality assurance will also be a key aspect of your role, involving reviewing and validating AV design documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements. You will conduct regular design reviews and participate in system testing and troubleshooting activities to ensure optimal system performance. Additionally, you will provide technical support during the project lifecycle, attending site visits, assisting with equipment selection and procurement, and addressing design-related queries from project teams. For this position, we are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field for freshers. For experienced candidates, a relevant degree or diploma in Engineering or a related discipline is required. Proficiency in CAD software, strong understanding of AV concepts and industry standards, excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, effective communication, and teamwork abilities are also essential for this role.
