About the job: Job Overview We are seeking a Mid-Level Design Engineer for a full-time position based in Coimbatore. The candidate should possess 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The role involves utilizing advanced design software to contribute to the development and improvement of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design engineering, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience as a Design Engineer with a minimum of 4 years in the field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA (Mandatory skill). Strong knowledge of ANSYS for analysis and simulation to ensure robust design solutions. Experience with Revit for developing detailed architectural design plans and models. Capable of performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to predict how products react to real-world forces. Comprehensive understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for precise engineering drawings. Expertise in 3D Modeling to visualize and design complex structures and components. Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot design issues and develop innovative engineering solutions. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and create detailed design layouts and technical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA. Conduct thorough analysis using ANSYS and finite element analysis methods to ensure product reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product designs and implement improvements. Maintain up-to-date design documentation and generate detailed reports for project stakeholders. Ensure designs are compliant with industry standards and regulations for safety and performance. Participate in the prototyping and testing phases to validate design effectiveness and address issues. Utilize Revit for architectural design tasks, ensuring cohesive and functional project layouts. Provide technical support and guidance throughout the entire design and execution process.
