Design Draftsman (CAD is Must)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Design & Drafting Engineer with a diploma in design and drafting, along with hands-on experience in measuring high-precision engineering components. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks) and capable of producing accurate technical drawings and 3D models to support our precision manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for high-precision components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure accuracy in design.
• Perform precision measurement and inspection of engineering components using tools such as micrometers, calipers, CMMs, and other metrology equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability of designs.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, and revision records.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerance requirements.
• Provide technical input and design support during prototype and production stages.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Design & Drafting / Mechanical Engineering / Tool Design (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in measuring high-precision engineering components.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Hands-on experience with measurement tools and equipment.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to manufacturing processes (machining, tooling, CNC).
• Knowledge of ISO / ASME standards for drafting and tolerancing.
• Experience in preparing technical reports and documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
