The Accountant Assistant supports the accounting and finance department by performing daily administrative and accounting tasks. This role helps ensure accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with company policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining financial records and supporting documentation. Process invoices, receipts, and payments. Assist with payroll preparation and employee expense reimbursements. Enter and update accounting data in accounting software (e.g., Busy.). Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Assist in preparing financial reports and spreadsheets. Handle petty cash management and maintain records. Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding billing and payments. Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
