Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Diagnosis and Treatment:

Examine patients to identify and diagnose various skin, hair, and nail conditions, from common issues like acne and eczema to complex diseases like skin cancer.
Prescribe medications and create personalized treatment plans to manage these conditions.
Procedures and Surgery:
Perform minor surgeries, such as mole, cyst, or wart removals.
Conduct skin biopsies to diagnose and further investigate conditions.
Administer various treatments, including laser treatments, chemical peels, and other cosmetic interventions.
Patient Education and Prevention:
Educate patients on proper skincare, preventive measures, and ways to maintain healthy skin, hair, and nails.
Record Keeping and Professional Development:
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient symptoms, diagnoses, and treatment progress.
Continuously update their knowledge by attending conferences, seminars, and training programs to stay current on new methodologies and treatments.
Collaboration and Referrals:
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Refer patients to other specialists in different fields of medicine when a condition requires it.
