Job Description

As an experienced Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning and design of water supply schemes, costing, coordination, and specifications. Reporting to the Discipline Team Lead/Lead Engineer, you will collaborate with other project team members, respect deadlines, and achieve targeted results. Your responsibilities will include analyzing data, hydraulic modeling using WaterGEMS, and hands-on experience with ArcGIS/ArcGIS Pro and AutoCAD. You will develop clean water models to investigate constraints and generate solutions, master plan water infrastructure for medium to large cities, and work on pressure zoning (PMA/DMA/DMZ) and options evaluation. Additionally, you will be involved in cost estimation, capital investment planning, and implementation planning. Your role will also require you to prepare presentations and reports, undertake project tasks at various stages in the project life cycle, and ensure technical excellence and best practices to specification. Furthermore, you will provide input to Designers/Draftsmen for drawing preparation, review/check drawings, and guide designers/draftsmen. You will interact/coordinate with other disciplines for input, meet clients/vendors/third parties as needed, and review/check design calculations and drawings to ensure technical correctness and conformance to project requirements. To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor of Engineering degree from a recognized university, with a Masters in environmental/Water Resource Engineering being an added advantage. You should have 3-6 years of experience in water/wastewater projects, with at least 2-4 years in hydraulic modeling on the WaterGEMS platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in hydraulic analysis for medium to large cities, capacity evaluation of existing systems, and developing water supply strategies for future demand. Experience in planning utility corridors, pipeline routing, clash checking using Navisworks, and clash resolution for detailed design projects will be advantageous. You should be able to integrate well with a diverse team, meet project demands, and uphold quality standards while bridging data gaps and meeting timelines effectively.,
