Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
• Take medical documentation accurately to maintain comprehensive patient records.
• Utilize 3D scanners for imaging when necessary to support treatment planning.
• Perform X-ray imaging as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic.
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
• Operate dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for record management.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices.

Skills

• Proficiency in medical documentation to ensure accurate patient records.
• Experience with 3D scanners and medical imaging techniques is preferred.
• Familiarity with dental software systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of general dentistry practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
• Excellent assisting skills with the ability to anticipate the needs of the dentist during procedures.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Working Days: 6 days work, offs as per roster.

Academic Qualification: 10th pass/ 12th pass/Nursing

Experience : Fresher/Experienced
