The Security Officer will be responsible for patrolling and monitoring premises to ensure safety and security. Responsibilities include responding promptly to emergencies, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, maintaining daily logs and incident reports, managing access control systems, and upholding a secure environment for individuals and property within the premises. Qualifications Strong knowledge of security operations and protocols, including surveillance and access control practices Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and other stakeholders Ability to manage emergencies effectively, including skills in risk assessment and conflict resolution Strong attention to detail and ability to create thorough reports on incidents and observations Physical fitness and ability to be on foot for extended periods while patrolling Relevant security certification or prior security experience is preferred Basic knowledge of using security technology and equipment is advantageous Ethical conduct, vigilance, and a strong sense of responsibility are essential
