A caring and compassionate Staff Nurse is needed to provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring health, and educating patients and families. Responsibilities Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects and reactions. Monitor patient conditions and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in health. Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential health records and reports. Order and perform diagnostic tests and procedures. Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Provide direct patient care, including wound care, inserting IVs, and assisting with other treatments. Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans. Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families. Maintain a safe, hygienic, and up-to-date working environment. May supervise nursing assistants, aides, and other junior staff.
