Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to manage and grow Deep Horizon’s digital presence across social media platforms. This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about storytelling, brand building, and creating impactful digital content — particularly within the technology and safety domain. You’ll work directly with the founding and strategy team to shape Deep Horizon’s voice, engage communities, and drive awareness for our mission: to make security accessible, reliable, and technology-driven. Key Responsibilities Develop, schedule, and manage content across Deep Horizon’s social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) Create engaging posts, videos, stories, and reels that align with our brand tone and mission Collaborate with internal teams to showcase ongoing operations, campaigns, and partnerships Monitor and respond to audience engagement and feedback in a professional and timely manner Analyze performance metrics and recommend improvements to increase reach and engagement Stay updated on social media trends, especially in technology, safety, and startup spaces Assist in managing ad campaigns and boosting content within budget constraints Support occasional offline activities or events by creating coverage content Requirements 0–2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation Strong understanding of major social platforms and their algorithms Proficiency in tools like Canva, CapCut, or basic Adobe Suite for content design/editing Excellent communication skills and creative storytelling ability Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Interest in technology, safety, or public service is a strong plus What We Offer Opportunity to build and grow a brand from the ground up Hands-on exposure to startup strategy and digital growth Flexible working hours Competitive budget-aligned compensation with growth opportunities as we scale
