The Junior Interior Designer role involves supporting senior designers in interior design projects from inception to completion. Junior designers work closely with senior designers to ensure that design objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities: - Assisting Senior Designers: Supporting senior designers in developing design concepts and executing projects. - Creating Design Documents: Preparing floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings using CAD software with accuracy in measurements and specifications. - Sourcing Materials: Researching and selecting materials, furniture, and fixtures based on aesthetic and budgetary requirements. - Project Coordination: Managing project timelines, communicating with vendors, and ensuring smooth execution of design plans. - Client Communication: Participating in client meetings, presenting design concepts, and gathering feedback. - Site Visits: Accompanying senior designers on site visits to assess spaces, take measurements, and oversee design element installations. Skills and Qualifications: - Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) for creating technical drawings. - Design Skills: Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and color theory. - Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, vendors, and team members. - Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve design and project-related issues. - Education: Typically requires a degree or diploma in Interior Design.,
