Job Title : Autonomous Mobility Lab Engineer Location : Bangalore Employment Type : Full-Time Department : R&D Autonomous Systems Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and technically grounded engineer to be stationed full-time at the Autonomous Vehicle Lab at Bangalore. The selected candidate will play a key role in Sensor integration Perception algorithm development Developing and scaling the lab's infrastructure Develop an Autonomous software stack Key Responsibilities Software Stack Development Contribute to developing modular software stacks for sensor data acquisition, preprocessing, and perception tasks. Build toward a unified software framework for vehicle-level autonomy that can be reused across multiple experiments and platforms. Lab Development & Integration Support end-to-end setup of the Autonomous Mobility Lab, including hardware selection, software installation, and system integration. Integrate sensors such as LiDAR, camera, radar , and other modules, ensuring functionality of the lab at any time. Future-Proofing & Innovation a. Participate in ideation and prototyping of new lab equipment, such as HIL for AV, Lab car for AV & more. b. Explore emerging technologies and contribute ideas for lab enhancements aligned with future trends in autonomous mobility. Desired Skills & Qualifications Educational Background : B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields. Technical Expertise : Proficiency in ROS (Robot Operating System) , Python, C++, and sensor integration. Familiarity with tools like RViz, Gazebo, ROS2 , and data acquisition frameworks. Experience working with LiDAR, radar, camera , and embedded systems is highly desirable. Exposure to SLAM, sensor fusion, object detection , or related ADAS algorithms is a bonus.
