Exp: 6+ years Work Location: Hyderabad Work Timing: General Shift Work Mode: WFO Position Type: Permanent (Fulltime) Notice Period: 0-15 days Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior HANA Information Modeler with 6 to 8 years of advanced experience in designing and creating information models in SAP HANA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HANA SQL, ETL processes, and the design and creation of complex data models. You will be responsible for translating business KPIs into actionable data models, optimizing performance, and ensuring that data structures are robust and efficient. Key Responsibilities: Design and create information models in SAP HANA using Attribute Views, Analytic Views, and Calculation Views (both script-based and graphical). Leverage advanced HANA SQL skills to design and implement efficient queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views. Develop and optimize ETL processes, particularly using SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS), for efficient data integration and transformation. Work extensively with aggregate and window functions to enhance data processing and performance. Design and maintain complex database schemas, ensuring effective normalization and table design. Define reusable components and frameworks, establish common schemas, and set standards and tools for HANA development. Translate business KPIs into HANA-based solutions and define reporting layouts to meet business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data models and solutions are aligned with business objectives. Apply best practices for performance tuning and stress testing to ensure that models perform optimally at scale. Utilize tools such as SAP BW, SAP BO, and third-party reporting tools like Tableau, QlikView, and Analysis for Office (AO) for reporting and analysis. Implement and manage SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) and SDI (SAP Data Intelligence) for data integration. Work within Agile/Scrum methodology, contributing to iterative development and collaborative problem-solving. Provide strong leadership and mentoring within the team, promoting best practices in database design and HANA development. Required Skills and Experience: 6 to 8 years of advanced experience in designing and creating information models in SAP HANA, including experience with Attribute Views, Analytic Views, and Calculation Views (script-basedand graphical). Expertise in advanced HANA SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, triggers,functions, and views. Strong experience in ETL processes, especially with SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS). Advanced knowledge of aggregate and window functions in HANA SQL. Expertise in Transact-SQL (DDL, DML, DCL) and database design, normalization, and table creation. Strong understanding of reusable components, frameworks, and standardization in HANA development. Proven experience in translating business KPIs into HANA-based solutions and reporting layouts. Experience with SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and SAP BO (BusinessObjects). Strong knowledge of SAP SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) and SDI (SAP Data Intelligence). Familiarity with reporting tools like Tableau, QlikView, and Analysis for Office is desirable. Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, business-friendly terms. Additional Skills (Desirable): Performance tuning and stress testing expertise to optimize data models and processes. Familiarity with database optimization techniques in large-scale environments.
