You will be responsible for managing sales activities in Uganda, East Africa, particularly focusing on TMT bars and steel products. As part of a well-established steel manufacturing group in Kampala, you will contribute to filling the demand for TMT bars across the African region. Your role will involve direct sales, either in retail or project-based settings, with a preference for individuals experienced in TMT bar sales or dealing with distributors of such products. To excel in this position, you should hold a graduate degree, preferably in Mechanical or related fields, with 5-12 years of field sales experience in TMT bars or building materials. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets consistently. Ideally, you should also possess experience working with well-known TMT brands and building product distributors. Previous work experience in Uganda, particularly by Indian nationals, will be advantageous. Key qualifications include strong direct sales skills, a history of individual performance, a smart and outgoing personality, analytical thinking abilities, and proficiency in English and local languages. The salary and benefits offered will be competitive and in line with the market standards in Uganda. As a Field Sales Executive in the Iron & Steel industry, you will be expected to drive retail and B2C sales initiatives. This full-time and permanent role will require you to engage in business development activities, leveraging your industry knowledge and sales expertise to expand market reach and achieve set objectives.
