DC Network Consulting Engineer

You are an experienced and highly skilled DC Network Consulting Engineer based in Gurgaon, with 5 to 8 years of experience. Your role involves providing technical consulting, design, deployment, and troubleshooting of complex network infrastructures. You should possess strong knowledge of Cisco technologies and have a background in service provider or enterprise network environments. Your key responsibilities include designing, deploying, and troubleshooting high-performance IP and optical network solutions. You will be working on the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Cisco IP and Optical Routers such as ASR 9912, ASR 9910, ASR 9903, and Cisco 8000 series. Your expertise will be utilized in network protocol configuration and optimization to ensure performance and reliability. Additionally, you will offer expert-level consulting for network architecture improvements and problem resolution while collaborating with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions. Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures will also be part of your responsibilities. The technical skills required for this role include a strong background in Routing & Switching and Service Provider networks. You should have in-depth knowledge of Cisco platforms, especially ASR series and Cisco 8K. Proficiency in various networking protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, LISP, VxLAN, IPv6, MPLS LDP, MPLS TE, RSVP, VPN Technologies like VPWS, VPLS, L3VPN, Traffic Engineering including TE-Tunnel and Segment Routing, and strong troubleshooting and analytical skills are essential. Preferred certifications for this position include CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE (Routing & Switching or Service Provider).
