Job Description

As a PostgreSQL Database Developer at Infogain, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining PostgreSQL databases. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining PostgreSQL databases to ensure optimal performance and data integrity. - Writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support database functionalities. - Collaborating with software developers to integrate efficient database solutions into applications. - Performing database tuning and troubleshooting to enhance performance. - Implementing and managing database backup, recovery, and security measures to safeguard data. - Monitoring database performance and providing technical support to ensure smooth operations. - Staying updated with the latest PostgreSQL features and best practices to drive continuous improvements. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Database Developer or similar role. - Strong proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL. - Experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning. - Familiarity with database security and backup/recovery processes. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. - Good communication skills.
