DB - Implementation Manager

As an Implementation Manager at Milliman, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees for defined benefit plans in compliance with plan provisions. You should have prior experience in managing teams and be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your role will involve providing operational support, managing defined benefits administration, and pursuing continued education through professional exams. Your duties and responsibilities will include leading plan specifications, automation/process improvement projects, and approving plan specifications or technology changes for pension calculations. You will also lead project planning, acceptance testing, and coordinate with the Senior Benefits Manager for team issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking and managing the team's SLA, formulating strategies to meet team goals, and achieving efficiencies through cross-utilization and trainings. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong logical and analytical abilities, and the capacity to train, develop, and motivate teams. Proficiency in VB.Net, SQL Server, MS Office (Excel and Access), and a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Defined Benefits administration are required. A bachelor's or master's degree in any discipline is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include certifications in US Benefits, high integrity, discretion, and the ability to manage change effectively.
