Data/Information Mgt Analyst

As a Data/Information Management Analyst 2 at our company, your role involves applying your specialty area knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes and data. You will be responsible for identifying policy gaps, formulating policies, interpreting data, and making recommendations. Additionally, you will research and interpret factual information, identify inconsistencies in data or results, define business issues, and formulate recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices. You will integrate established disciplinary knowledge within your specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices. Your understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives will be crucial. Your impact will be limited to your own team. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for various data activities including database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management or database architecture/design engineering - Perform routine operational or administrative work - Focus on administering defined procedures, analyses, and report preparation on a day-to-day basis - Have your work reviewed by more senior team members and have limited contact outside your immediate area - Deliver routine and defined outputs daily while developing knowledge of the broader context of the work being performed - Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, with a focus on safeguarding the firm's reputation and assets, adhering to policies, laws, and regulations, and escalating control issues with transparency Qualifications: - 2-5 years of relevant experience - Good knowledge of analytic tools like SAS, SQL, Unix, Python, etc. - Ability to engage resources outside of direct control to achieve objectives Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed.
