Job Description

Role Overview: The purpose of your role as a Databricks Technical Lead is to support process delivery by ensuring daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolve technical escalations, and develop technical capability within the Production Specialists. You will be responsible for designing database models to store structured & unstructured data efficiently, creating effective data tools for analytics experts, and integrating Databricks with various ETL/Orchestration tools. Key Responsibilities: - Familiarity with Lakehouse Architecture with Delta Tables, Schema Evolution, ACID compatibility, History capture, etc. - Integrating Databricks with various ETL/Orchestration tools and performing required operations - Must have proficiency in Python - Experience with CI/CD Pipeline with AWS - Strong knowledge of SQL and SPARK with Data Engineering background - Expertise in Spark ecosystems, Data frame API, Data set API, RDD APIs & Spark SQL - Hands-on experience in workspace and cluster configuration, performance tuning, and log monitoring - Experience with structured streaming and streaming frameworks - Proficiency in Python, Scala, and SQL - Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture with knowledge of best practices from Databricks - Strong understanding of Data Modeling and defining conceptual logical and physical data models - Building Data Engineering solutions using AWS/Azure native stack - Managing various client relationships to get consensus on solutions - Nice to have AI/ML skill and any architect level certification from Databricks Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8 years of IT experience and minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in Databricks with validated knowledge in designing database models - Experience in DataBricks - Data Engineering - Experience: 5-8 Years In addition to the technical responsibilities, you will also handle technical escalations through effective diagnosis and troubleshooting of client queries, manage and resolve technical roadblocks/escalations as per SLA and quality requirements, provide product support and resolution to clients, troubleshoot all client queries in a user-friendly manner, offer alternative solutions to clients, and effectively communicate oral messages appropriate to listeners and situations.
