Database Tester / Functional Tester

As a Functional Tester, you will be responsible for designing and executing test cases to validate various application functionalities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure the quality of the applications. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking functional defects for timely resolution. - Collaborating with developers to address and resolve functional issues. - Participating in code reviews and providing valuable feedback on testability. - Developing and maintaining automated functional test scripts for efficient testing processes. As a Database Tester, your role will involve designing and executing test plans and test cases to evaluate database functionality, performance, and security. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting data validation, integrity checks, and data consistency testing. - Writing and executing SQL queries to verify data accuracy and completeness. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking database-related defects for resolution. - Collaborating with database administrators and developers to address database issues. - Developing and maintaining automated database test scripts to streamline testing procedures. - Monitoring database performance and identifying potential bottlenecks for optimization. In general, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. It is essential to stay updated with the latest testing technologies and trends to enhance your skills. Effective communication with team members and stakeholders is crucial for successful collaboration.
