Database Engineer/Lead

As an experienced Database Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing high-quality, reliable database solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing high-quality, reliable database solutions. - Writing and optimizing complex T-SQL stored procedures and functions. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and translate them into effective queries and reports. - Analyzing and improving existing SQL queries to enhance performance. - Managing and optimizing large datasets, ensuring efficient and secure data access. - Handling data migration, backup, recovery, and version upgrades. - Creating and managing SQL Jobs based on application requirements. - Working with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS for ETL and reporting workflows. - Ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and security of database systems. - Investigating anomalies related to data or asset movement and providing resolutions. - Supporting ongoing management reporting with timely and actionable insights. Qualifications required for this role: - Deep expertise in T-SQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server. - Strong understanding of relational database concepts and normalization. - Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), and Analysis Services (SSAS). - Proven track record in optimizing complex SQL statements and handling large datasets. - Experience with MySQL is a plus. - A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
