Database Engineer - MS SQL Server

As a Database Developer at Sriggle, you will play a key role in the database development efforts, encompassing database design, coding, and documentation. Your responsibilities will include writing and modifying medium to complex stored procedures and Triggers, developing complex reports using SSRS, and conducting SQL programming and general database administration tasks. Your technical expertise should encompass strong skills in database technologies, particularly Microsoft SQL Server, and experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS). A good understanding of object-oriented design concepts is also required for this role. You will be expected to analyze, troubleshoot, and debug stored procedures from a performance tuning perspective, as well as prioritize tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines. In this position, you will be accountable for tasks such as designing specifications and functional documentations for assigned database projects, identifying and addressing issues related to database performance, creating complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development, and providing general IT support for database design, development, execution, and maintenance. You will report to the Lead Database Developer and work collaboratively within a team environment. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline, exceptional communication and explanation skills (including freshers), and knowledge of the Travel business will be preferred.
