Project Role : Database Administrator Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Must have skills : Microsoft SQL Server Administration Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to design, implement, and maintain new databases, ensuring effective backup and recovery processes, and managing configuration settings. You will also install database management systems and contribute to the refinement of procedures and documentation for problem resolution and daily maintenance tasks. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the design and implementation of new database systems to meet organizational needs. - Monitor database performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration. - Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices. - Experience with backup and recovery strategies for database systems. - Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques. - Knowledge of security measures and compliance standards for database management. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
