Job Title: Data Warehouse Lead Experience: 10+ Years Location: Kochi, India

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Warehouse Lead to oversee our enterprise data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Data Warehousing concepts, ETL, and data modeling, with the ability to lead teams, design scalable solutions, and ensure data quality, governance, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise Data Warehouse solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data models.
• Architect and optimize ETL processes for efficient data integration from multiple sources.
• Ensure high data quality, performance, and reliability across all data warehouse solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BI, Analytics, Cloud, Application) to support reporting and advanced analytics use cases.
• Establish and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Monitor system performance and proactively implement improvements to ensure availability and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, ETL, and Database Development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (query optimization, stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexing, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with at least one major ETL tool (Informatica, ODI, Talend, SSIS, etc.).
• Expertise in data modeling (star schema, snowflake, dimensional modeling).
• Strong experience in data architecture and performance tuning.
• Exposure to Cloud Data Warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in leading data/ETL teams.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and business stakeholders.

Good to Have

• Experience with BI/Analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, OAC, OBIEE).
• Knowledge of big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with DevOps/DataOps practices.

Education

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
