Data Steward

You are looking for a Data Steward Consultant to join an exceptional team of professionals at RDIO TECH. Role Overview: As a Data Steward Consultant at RDIO TECH, you will be responsible for data onboarding, data quality measures, data governance, and maintaining business rule specifications. You will work closely with Data Architects, Compliance team, and stakeholders to ensure data integrity and compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Data Architects to develop and document data schemas, data lineage, and metadata dictionaries - Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data assets and develop training materials and user guides - Implement data quality measures using data platform and cloud capabilities - Monitor data quality, research issues, and track quality across data touch points - Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer agreements - Manage data asset access and resolve conflicts related to data usage - Maintain and update business rule specifications for data processing - Enhance and maintain business and governance metadata for each assigned data asset Qualifications Required: - Bilingual in English & Portuguese - Bachelor's degree in business administration, information management, finance, statistics, analytics, engineering, or related field - Minimum 7+ years of experience in process development within a data management environment - Experience working with Data Schemas and Data formats such as JSON, Parquet, AVRO, etc. - Highly proficient with data handling/quality tools like SAS, SQL, DataStage/InfoSphere, DataLever/RedPoint DM, Spotfire, Tableau, or other industry-standard tools - Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to run ad hoc queries and conduct analysis About the Company: At RDIO TECH, we connect the best professionals with the best opportunities.
