Data Security Operations Lead

Role Overview: As a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to assess and mitigate risks associated with DLP solutions. You will be in charge of administering DLP tools, which includes configuring policies and monitoring alerts. Communication with stakeholders and data owners to deploy DLP policies in production will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you will need to enhance your expertise in best practices for Data Protection to ensure a consistent process of improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Assess and mitigate risks associated with DLP solutions - Administer DLP tools, configure policies, and generate reports - Monitor and respond to alerts from DLP systems - Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and deploy DLP policies - Stay updated on best practices for Data Protection - Troubleshoot DLP technology, identify new features, and work on upgrades - Identify gaps in current alerting platforms and recommend improvements - Review risk scoring models to focus on significant security events - Liaise with GRC & CISO function for policy configuration and reporting - Demonstrate understanding of incident response process and event escalations - Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to support privacy initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Security Technology - Strong knowledge of Information Security concepts related to Governance, Risk & Compliance - Experience in DLP Technology implementation, support, and event handling - Subject matter expert or lead experience in Data Loss Prevention - Strong analytical skills to identify and respond to complex security issues - Proficiency in Windows and MAC endpoints administration - Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
