Data Scientist for AI Products

As a Data Scientist for AI Products at Linde, you will be an integral part of the Artificial Intelligence team within Linde's global corporate division. Your primary responsibility will involve working on real business challenges and opportunities across multiple countries. Your focus will be on supporting the AI team in extending existing AI products and developing new ones to cater to various use cases within Linde's business and value chain. Collaboration with diverse teams including Project Managers, Data Scientists, Data and Software Engineers will be a key aspect of your role. You will directly work with a variety of data sources, types, and structures to derive actionable insights. Developing, customizing, and managing AI software products based on Machine and Deep Learning backends will be among your core tasks. Your role will also entail supporting the replication of existing products and pipelines to other systems and geographies, defining data requirements for new developments, and interacting with business functions to identify opportunities with potential business impact. To excel in this role, you are required to have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, Computational Statistics/Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field. A strong understanding and practical experience in Multivariate Statistics, Machine Learning, and Probability concepts are essential. Additionally, hands-on experience with preprocessing, feature engineering, data cleansing, and Python programming skills are crucial. Proficiency in handling large datasets using SQL, knowledge of data architectures, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI are desired. Your result-driven mindset, excellent communication skills, and ability to structure projects from ideation to implementation will be valuable assets in this role. Fluency in English is a must, and any experience with DevOps, MS Azure, Azure ML, Kedro, Airflow, MLflow, or similar tools will be advantageous.
