Data Quality Senior

As a highly skilled Senior Data Quality Specialist with 10 to 15 years of experience, you will need to combine business acumen with technical expertise. Your role will involve effective problem-solving, consulting with practice area leads, and enhancing data quality processes. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with practice area leads to identify data quality issues and develop effective solutions. You will also review and evaluate current data quality checks to ensure they align with business requirements. Furthermore, you will be expected to identify opportunities for new data quality checks and enhancements to existing processes. Working closely with the Data Quality Lead, you will assist in implementing and monitoring data quality strategies. Your role will require conducting thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that may impact data quality. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation of data quality processes and generating reports for stakeholders. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality initiatives align with organizational goals will also be essential. You should demonstrate the ability to rationalize problems, exercise judgment, and use innovation to define clear and concise solutions. Moreover, you will collaborate across regions (APAC, EMEA, and NA) to effectively identify root causes of code/data issues and develop permanent solutions. Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and ETL tools is crucial for this role. Experience with Azure and Snowflake Testing is a plus, along with strong SQL knowledge and debugging skills. A good understanding of the financial domain and experience with JIRA defect management tools will be beneficial. Your responsibilities will also include performing comprehensive data quality checks, proposing enhancements to existing processes, and analyzing and solving complex problems related to data quality in the investment banking domain. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity across various systems and support for business system analysis, project management, and quality assurance initiatives will be part of your role. Key Skills Required: - Demonstrated experience in data quality management, data analysis, or related fields - Strong expertise in investment banking, capital markets - Front, Middle and Back office operations - Familiarity with Agile methodology and Atlassian tools - Knowledge of Snowflake - Proficiency in data management tools and technologies - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to interpret complex data sets - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting - High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality - Enforcement of data quality best practices - Work on data modeling according to project requirements - Strong SQL knowledge and debugging skills, with additional knowledge in Snowflake.,
