Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of Data Engineering and ETL projects.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage data migration, data warehouse, data lake, and reporting initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
  • Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including ETL Developers, Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Architects.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards.
  • Provide regular status updates and executive-level reporting.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure successful project outcomes.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in Project Management.
  • Experience managing

    ETL, Data Warehouse, Data Migration, or Data Integration projects

    .
  • Strong understanding of ETL tools such as:
    • Informatica PowerCenter / IICS
    • IBM DataStage
    • SSIS
    • Talend
    • Ab Initio
    • AWS Glue
    • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Experience in Data Warehousing and Dimensional Modeling concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Hands-on understanding of Cloud Data Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience working with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
