We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts, Payroll, and Taxation to manage key financial operations for our UK and Ireland business entities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including Trial Balance , Profit & Loss (P&L) Statements , and Balance Sheets . Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to accounting standards (UK GAAP/IFRS). Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement. 2. Payroll Management: Process payroll for employees across the UK and Ireland, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local employment laws and tax regulations. Calculate statutory deductions, including PAYE (Pay As You Earn), National Insurance, PRSI (Pay-Related Social Insurance), pensions, and other contributions. Ensure timely submission of payroll reports to HMRC (UK) and Revenue Commissioners (Ireland). Address employee queries related to payroll and resolve discrepancies efficiently. 3. Taxation Compliance: Prepare and file VAT returns for the UK and Ireland, ensuring compliance with local tax laws. Calculate and manage corporate tax liabilities, including preparation of tax computations and liaising with tax authorities. Keep abreast of changes in UK and Irish taxation policies and implement necessary adjustments in the company’s accounting practices. Assist in tax audits and provide necessary documentation to authorities as required. 4. General Accounting Duties: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Support external audits by providing requested documentation and resolving auditor queries. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure data integrity in accounting systems.
