Key Responsibilities:

• Issue Resolution: Proactively address support issues in productionandnon-production environments, resolving service outagesandpolicy failures in IBMDataPowerandAzure APIM.
• Platform Upgrades: PlanandexecuteDataPower firmware upgrades, ensuring zero-downtime implementationsandcoordinating post-upgrade validations.
• Certificate Management: Handle periodic certificate renewalsandreplacements, updating keystoresandtrust stores,andvalidating SSL handshakes to minimize service disruptions.
• Production Deployments: Manage production releases by deployingandvalidatingDataPower configurations, policies,andscripts, including rollback planning.

Development Activities:

• Designandimplement Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW) configurations for multi-format, multi-protocol integrations.
• Gather business requirementsandcreate secure APIs in Azure API Management.
• Enhance MQ handlers withinDataPower to meet new messaging standardsandperformance requirements.
• Develop reusable XSLT templatesandgateway scripts for dynamic endpoint selection, token validation,andcustom logging.
• Implement intelligent routing mechanisms based on headers, payload, or authentication state.
• AuthenticationandSecurity: Configure AAA policies integrating LDAP, OAuth,andcustom credential providers,andimplement SAML 2.0-based single sign-on for multiple applications.
