Data Network Admin

As a Network Administrator at Viraaj HR Solutions, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining data networks to ensure optimal performance. Your role will involve monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and configuring network hardware and software components. Implementing network security protocols, managing LAN/WAN environments, and setting up VPN connections for remote users will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You will conduct regular assessments of network security vulnerabilities, provide technical support to end-users, and document network configurations and system changes effectively. Collaborating with vendors for network hardware procurement, performing routine backups, and analyzing system logs to prepare reports on network performance will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will work with IT teams to optimize infrastructure, train staff on network system usage and security, and stay updated on emerging network technologies and trends. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration. Proficiency in LAN/WAN and network protocols, experience with network security tools and firewalls, and strong troubleshooting skills for network-related issues are essential. Knowledge of hardware components, VPN technology, IP addressing, subnetting, network monitoring tools, and the ability to write technical documentation and reports are also required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving capabilities, and certifications in networking such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are preferred. You should be flexible to adapt to changing priorities, detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
