Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing the logical data model based on the understanding of the conceptual model and conducting data profiling to deliver high-quality data models and data within the standards defined by the client and the industry. You will analyze requirements, create a clarification list if needed, define data requirements, and create conceptual models based on understanding of business processes. Additionally, you will map KPIs to the conceptual model, validate it with the client, and create a logical model capturing entities, tables, columns, etc. You will create tables, establish relationships between them, and ensure coverage by mapping conceptual to logical models. Furthermore, you will define entities, attributes, domain, and create a physical model based on project requirements. Seeking review inputs and validating the model alignment with technology suggested for the project will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and communicate with business users to gather requirements - Possess excellent communication skills - Work experience in an Onsite-offshore model - Write complex DB queries in MS SQL Server, Azure Data Models, Power BI, and Azure Analytics Services - Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models with a minimum of 5+ years of experience - Implement RDBMS, operational data store (ODS), data marts, and data lakes on target platforms - Understand normalization/denormalization concepts, metadata management, and data governance - Utilize strong data analysis and physical data modeling skills - Demonstrate expertise in data modeling, structuring, and working in high-volume data environments - Apply schema designs and knowledge of data warehousing ETL/ELT concepts Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in writing complex DB queries in MS SQL Server, Azure Data Models, Power BI, and Azure Analytics Services - Minimum 5 years of experience in developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models - Experience in implementing RDBMS, operational data store (ODS), data marts, and data lakes on target platforms - Knowledge of normalization/denormalization concepts, metadata management, and data governance - Strong data analysis and physical data modeling experience - Proficiency in data modeling, structuring, schema designs, and data warehousing ETL/ELT concepts Please note: Experience of 5+ years is required for this role.
