Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Database Architect/Administrator to manage and optimize both NoSQL and SQL databases, ensuring high performance and security for our critical data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with OLTP , OLAP data models, and MongoDB , with a strong background in data modeling and SQL/PLSQL . Key Responsibilities : Database Management : Oversee and maintain NoSQL and relational database systems (SQL Server, MongoDB) to ensure they operate optimally. Performance Monitoring : Monitor database health and troubleshoot performance issues by implementing tuning and optimization strategies. Security Management : Implement and maintain database security measures to safeguard sensitive information, ensuring compliance with security standards. Data Modeling : Collaborate with development teams to design and implement conceptual, logical , and physical data models for database systems. Ensure accurate data modeling that aligns with business requirements. Disaster Recovery : Plan, implement, and test disaster recovery procedures, ensuring data backups are done regularly and accurately. Data Integration : Work with teams to ensure data is seamlessly integrated into the OLTP and OLAP environments, enabling efficient data processing. Client Collaboration : Work closely with clients to understand the data model of insurance systems , helping translate business needs into effective database solutions. Mandatory Skills : Strong knowledge of OLTP and OLAP data modeling concepts. Proficiency in NoSQL databases, with MongoDB being a preferred skill. Solid experience in SQL/PLSQL and relational database management. Ability to design efficient and scalable data models to meet business needs. Excellent troubleshooting skills, especially in resolving database performance issues. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams. Desired Skills : Experience with MySQL is a bonus . Experience in working with insurance systems and understanding the data models specific to this domain.
