Data Engineer

As a skilled Data Engineer at our company, your role will involve a dual focus on infrastructure maintenance and seamless onboarding of data views. You will be instrumental in ensuring stable data platform operations and facilitating efficient data integration, particularly amidst complex upstream changes and fiscal year transitions. Key Responsibilities: - Perform infrastructure maintenance tasks such as Azure subscription management, Azure Infrastructure and Platform Operations, ETL pipeline monitoring, source path validation and updates, and proactive issue identification and resolution. - Manage data onboarding activities by integrating new data sources and views, making adjustments for FY rollover, and evolving upstream systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform readiness with business objectives. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field. - Programming Languages: Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Java, Scala, SQL). - Database Expertise: Strong knowledge of database systems, data modeling techniques, and advanced SQL proficiency. Experience with NoSQL databases is considered a plus. - ETL Tools & Concepts: Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and experience with relevant tools such as Apache Airflow, Talend, Databricks, or Azure Data Factory.
