Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement data cleaning and noise reduction algorithms for point cloud data.
• Segment point cloud data to identify and isolate individual objects within assembly structures.
• Develop machine learning models to calculate and predict object orientation from 3D data.
• Integrate 3D geometry processing with Siemens NX and related CAD tools.
• Use data science libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Open 3D and Plotly for analysis and visualization.

Technical Skills & Tools:

• Open3D, PCL (Point Cloud Library)
• TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV
• Siemens NX, NXOpen
• Python, C#
• Libraries: NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Plotly
• PostgreSQL, Cloud Storage (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Object Detection, Python, Machine learning, OpenCV.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with 3D point cloud data.
• Proficiency in Python and C# for data processing and software integration.
• Experience with Siemens NX or similar CAD software for 3D modeling and dimension extraction.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques for object detection and orientation estimation.
• Familiarity with libraries: NumPy, Pandas, Plotly, Open 3D and Matplotlib.
• Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
