Job Description

As a Data Engineer at Spectral Consultants for one of the leading management consulting firms, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Leading project deliverables such as business case development, solution vision and design, user requirements, solution mockup, prototypes, technical architecture, test cases, deployment plans, and operations strategy. - Actively leading unstructured problem-solving to design and build complex solutions while ensuring they meet expected performance and functional requirements. - Leading the appropriate documentation of systems design, procedures, and SOPs. - Building cloud applications using serverless technologies like custom web applications, ETL pipelines, and real-time/stream analytics applications. - Leveraging expertise in both traditional and modern data architecture and processing concepts, including relational databases. Qualifications: - 5+ years of hands-on experience in creating High Level and Detailed Design documents. - Proficiency in working with distributed computing and cloud services platforms. - Experience working with Agile delivery frameworks and ability to mentor and coach teams to follow agile best practices. - Expertise in programming languages like Python, Scala, etc., with the ability to review the codes created by developers. - Familiarity with commonly used AWS services (or equivalent services in Azure) such as EMR, Glue, EC2, Glue ETL, Managed Airflow, S3, LakeFormation, SageMaker Studio, Athena, Redshift, RDS, and AWS Neptune.,
