Data Engineer - Power BI

As a BI Developer, your role will involve analyzing business requirements and translating them into effective BI solutions. You will review and analyze data models, perform GAP analysis with business needs and Power BI capabilities, and design efficient Power BI schemas optimized for performance. Your responsibilities will include transforming and preparing data using Power BI, SQL, or Microsoft Fabric, creating and optimizing DAX formulas, reports, and dashboards for advanced analytics, and developing and maintaining SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction and transformation. Collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals will also be a key aspect of your job. It is essential to ensure that BI solutions follow data governance, performance, and security guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - 2-4 years of proven experience as a BI Developer or Microsoft Fabric Developer with a strong focus on Power BI. In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you should have skills in: - Power BI: Report creation, dashboard development, data modeling, custom visuals, performance optimization. - Microsoft Fabric: Data pipelines, dataflows, workspace, and dataset management (certification preferred). - SQL: Query writing, stored procedures, database optimization. - Data Transformation Tools: Power Query, Microsoft Fabric tools for data preparation. - DAX Formulas: Advanced calculations and measures for analytics. Preferred Tools/Knowledge: - Azure Data Factory, Excel Power Query, or similar BI tools.,
