Data Engineer II- Marketing Science

As a Data Engineer in the Marketing Data team, your role is crucial in enhancing the data platform to drive world-class marketing insights. You will collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Marketing stakeholders to ensure the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of data products essential for marketing strategy. Your primary responsibilities include: - Maintaining and optimizing data pipelines processing high volumes of marketing data from various sources. - Developing monitoring, alerting, and testing frameworks to ensure data quality and operational reliability. - Building data models and infrastructure supporting marketing attribution, audience targeting, and A/B testing. - Enabling self-service data access for marketing teams through well-documented, performant data products. - Collaborating with cross-functional partners globally for effective data-driven decision-making. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or software engineering for data pipelines. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or relevant field. - Solid experience in programming languages like Java and Python. - Experience with cloud-based production data pipelines, data-lakes, and server-less solutions. - Hands-on experience in schema design, data modeling, and E2E system design. - Knowledge of tools like CDC, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, DBT, or equivalent. - Practical experience in building data platform capabilities including testing, monitoring, and security. - Familiarity with big data, working across different timezones, and experience in experimentation, statistics, and A/B testing are advantageous.
