About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS cloud services, Python programming, and PostgreSQL database management, with a passion for optimizing data workflows and enabling advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines for ingesting and transforming large datasets.
• Implement and manage data storage solutions using AWS services such as S3, Redshift, RDS, Glue, and Lambda.
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and application developers to ensure seamless data integration.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure high availability and data integrity.
• Implement data security best practices and compliance standards.
• Automate workflows and improve operational efficiency using Python scripting.
• Document processes, architecture, and data models for internal knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Strong experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, RDS).
• Expertise in PostgreSQL including query optimization and schema design.
• Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance.
