Job Description

Role & responsibilities: Perform Data Warehouse engineering activities on multiple Snowflake warehouses Ability to explore new tools in the data space, Performance POCs, Set standards for the wider implementation Work with customers to resolve database related issues Work Service Now tickets with the ability to troubleshoot resolutions Ability to provide consultation on issue analysis related to data integrity & performance of ETL job. Experience in working with very large & complex SQL databases that have enabled high availability support Provide early testing of new features and services Implement and monitor Snowflake best practices Provide guidance on Snowflake upgrades, optimization, debugging and capacity planning Understanding of security protocols (i.e. Kerberos, SSL, etc) Understanding of Agile Strong problem solving skills Experience with cloud infrastructure administration (Azure,AWS) Hands-on experience working with SQL Quick learner and adaptive to the change Ability to explore new tools in the data space, Performance POCs, Set standards for the wider implementation Primary skill set (mandatory technical skill sets) : Strong knowledge in SQL Develop Data Integration and ETL solutions (preferred Microsoft Platform – SSIS or Azure) Business Intelligence tools (preferred Microsoft Platform – Power BI, SSRS, SSAS – or Tableau) Experience- 4-7 years Must Have skill sets : Programming language (Python is preferred) Cloud fundamentals (Azure or AWS) Data Pipeline and Analytics architectures Fluent written and spoken English Nice to Have skill sets : Snowflake Azure Data Factory BODS DevOps fundamentals
