Job Description

As a Data Engineer specializing in Databricks, your role involves developing, supporting, and steering end-to-end business intelligence solutions. You will work closely with business analysts and data architects to translate requirements into technical implementations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining pyspark code through Databricks UI to enable data and analytics use cases for clients. - Coding, testing, and documenting new or modified data systems to create robust and scalable applications for data analytics. - Addressing performance, scalability, capacity, and reliability issues by diving deep into them. - Conducting research projects and Proof of Concepts (POC) to enhance data processing capabilities. In terms of work and technical experience, it is essential to have: - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark. - Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation skills. - A good understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have: - Familiarity with Google Pub sub, Kafka, or MongoDB. - Knowledge of ETL processes and tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading. - Understanding of cloud platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, and Google Cloud. - Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices. Qualifications required for this role include: - A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. - Demonstrated continued learning through technical certifications or related methods. - At least 3 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, preferably in the Retail domain. As an ideal candidate, you should be: - Self-motivated and focused on delivering outcomes for a fast-growing team and firm. - Capable of persuasive communication through speaking, writing, and client presentations.,
