Data Architect

As a Data Architect Vice President based in Chennai, your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing solutions to solve complex business problems. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, and design and implement solutions that meet those needs while balancing technology risks against business delivery. Your responsibilities will include: - Defining appropriate data architecture for data products - Implementing data product principles and standards - Translating business/use case requirements into logical and physical data models - Collaborating with business teams to capture requirements and optimize data models for performance - Testing and validating data models with data engineers - Continuously monitoring and optimizing the performance of data models - Designing data product solutions covering data architecture, platform design, and integration patterns - Owning the enterprise solution architecture roadmap for data products - Collaborating with technical product lead on data governance requirements and data quality standards - Partnering with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate requirements into data modelling specifications - Creating comprehensive documentation of data models, including entity relationship diagrams and data dictionaries - Obtaining sign-off from relevant stakeholders on logical and physical data models - Collaborating with data engineers to translate logical data models into physical data models Qualifications required for success in this role include: - Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS data services such as S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, Lambda - Proficiency in cloud architecture design and optimization on AWS - Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Teradata, and Snowflake - Strong data modelling and architecture skills - Ability to engage with business stakeholders, tech teams, and data engineers to deliver high-value solutions - Experience leading cross-functional teams to execute complex data architectures Additionally, highly valued skills may include: - Advanced cloud services knowledge - Expertise in data orchestration and automation - Performance tuning and optimization experience - Data visualization skills As a successful Senior Engineering and Design Lead, you will be assessed on key critical skills such as risk management, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology expertise.
