Key Responsibilities

Data Handling & Preparation

• Collect, clean, and preprocess raw data from multiple sources (SQL databases, Excel, etc.).
• Perform

  data wrangling

  to prepare datasets for analysis and modeling.
• Maintain data accuracy and consistency throughout the analytics pipeline.

Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)

• Perform

  exploratory and statistical analysis

  to identify key trends, correlations, and insights.
• Use visualization tools (e.g.,

  Power BI

  ,

  Matplotlib

  ,

  Seaborn

  ) to communicate findings effectively.
• Work with data team to translate data patterns into actionable insights.

Machine Learning & Predictive Modeling

Machine Learning algorithms

• Classification:

  Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, XGBoost, SVM, Nave Bayes, etc.

• Regression:

  Linear Regression, Ridge/Lasso Regression, Gradient Boosting, Random Forest Regressor, etc.
• Evaluate models using appropriate metrics (accuracy, precision, recall, RMSE, R, etc.).
• Automate model training and testing workflows using Python (Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy).

SQL & Database Analysis

• Write optimized

  SQL queries

  to extract, aggregate, and manipulate large datasets.
• Perform joins, subqueries, and window functions for analytical data extraction.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data accessibility and integrity.

Data Visualization & Reporting

• Build

  interactive dashboards

  in

  Power BI

  to visualize KPIs, trends, and forecasts.
• Create real-time reports that support business decision-making.
• Communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders using storytelling and visualization techniques.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of

  Python

  (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Hands-on experience with

  Machine Learning

  algorithms (classification, regression, feature selection).
• Proficiency in

  SQL

  for data extraction and transformation.
• Practical experience in

  Power BI

  dashboarding and data visualization.
• Strong understanding of

  statistics

  ,

  hypothesis testing

  , and

  data interpretation

• Familiarity with version control tools like

  Git

  is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed

  M.Tech

  in

  Data Science / Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning

  IIT

  or other premier institutes.
• Prior internship or project experience involving

  real-world datasets

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
