Data Analyst

As a Data Engineer in the insurance industry, your role involves collaborating with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Product and Project Managers, and enterprise stakeholders to deliver innovative, data-driven systems. You may be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, testing, documenting, and operating systems and web applications. Additionally, you will mentor and peer review the work of more junior Data engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with internal business partners and the team to analyze and decompose complex application features into simpler stories for planning and execution. - Provide technical leadership on medium and large projects. - Build complex systems integrating appropriate technologies as needed, including the extract, transform, load and processing of data as well as creation, processing, and consumption of RESTful API endpoints. - Act as technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in multiple areas/technologies across the organization. - Write complex SQL queries for a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS). - Work with AWS Stack (S3, EC2, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc). - Utilize Python programming language and Django framework for 5 and 3 years respectively. Qualifications Required: - 5 years of experience in Data Engineer role working with complex software systems (Data pipelines, services). - 5 years of experience working with data and relevant computation frameworks and systems. - Experience in writing complex SQL queries for a RDBMS. - Proficiency in Python programming language for 5 years. - Familiarity with AWS Stack (S3, EC2, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc). Please note that the work location is at the client office in Hyderabad, Telangana. The background check process will be conducted before onboarding. The mode of interview may include Telephonic, Face to Face, or Skype Interview. The shift timing is from 11 am to 9 pm IST, and business travel is not required.
