Data Analyst, Fundamental Equities

Role Overview: As an integral part of the Fundamental Equity investment team focusing on the European Healthcare sector in Mumbai, you will collaborate closely with an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager and team members to support fundamental research and idea generation. Your primary objective will be to independently cover stocks and progress in your career at MLP. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough fundamental research and analysis on companies within the European Healthcare sector. - Generate insightful investment ideas based on research findings. - Collaborate with the team to assess investment opportunities and provide recommendations. - Take ownership in independently covering stocks and contributing to the team's overall success. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, showcasing a proven track record in alternative data modeling and handling diverse datasets. - Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Tableau for data visualization. - Strong command of SQL for database querying and management. - Proficient in statistical methods and machine learning algorithms. - Demonstrated expertise in managing structured, unstructured, and panel datasets. - Experience in exploratory data analysis (EDA) and validation techniques. - Ability to design and implement suitable methodologies based on the data and context of the problem. - Excellent presentation skills to communicate complex findings clearly and in an actionable format. - Familiarity with various data processing, visualization, and modeling tools such as Tableau, Pandas, scikit-learn, scipy, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.,
