Description
As a Lead Data Analyst Finance at our company, your role will involve analyzing large financial and transactional datasets to identify trends and anomalies for driving business insights. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, and financial data models while designing Power BI dashboards to visualize financial KPIs, operational performance, and risk indicators. Collaborating with IT and finance teams to validate data from databases such as Azure, AWS, and SAP will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will work on ETL processes, financial planning enhancements using OneStream and SAP, and research on new data analytics tools for improving financial reporting capabilities. Leading cross-functional data analytics projects and effectively communicating financial insights to stakeholders will also be under your purview. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze large financial and transactional datasets to drive business insights. - Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and financial data models. - Design Power BI dashboards for visualizing financial KPIs and operational performance. - Collaborate with IT and finance teams to validate data from databases. - Perform ETL processes for structured and unstructured financial data. - Enhance financial planning using OneStream and SAP. - Research and implement new data analytics tools for improved reporting capabilities. - Provide technical input to financial technology initiatives and automation. - Lead cross-functional data analytics projects aligned with business goals. - Communicate financial insights effectively to finance leaders and executive teams. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering. - 6+ years of experience in financial data analysis and business intelligence. - Strong expertise in SQL, Power BI, Azure, AWS, and SAP-related financial analytics. - Experience in analyzing accounting, financial, or transactional data. - Proficiency in ETL processes, data modeling, and financial data validation. - Ability to collaborate with IT teams for database development and maintenance. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting to leadership. - Demonstrated experience in team leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in IT, Business Administration (MBA), or Data Science. - Experience in designing interactive Power BI dashboards. - Familiarity with ETL tools like Alteryx. - Practical experience with OneStream and SAP for financial modeling. - Data Analytics Certification.,
