Dark Store Shift Incharge

Shift Incharge is a pivotal role responsible for the end-to-end operational management of a

micro-fulfillment center (darkstore). You will be the on-the-ground leader, ensuring all

processes—from inventory management to order dispatch—run with precision and speed.

Key Responsibilities

● Operational Management: Oversee all daily darkstore operations, including inbound

receiving, inventory storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch, ensuring all

processes are executed with maximum efficiency.

● Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team of darkstore associates and

delivery partners to achieve and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as

on-time delivery, order accuracy, and productivity.

● Inventory & Stock Management: Implement best practices for inventory control,

including regular cycle counts, stock audits, and shrinkage prevention.

• Ensure product availability and accurate stock levels are maintained at all times.

● Order Fulfillment: Manage the picking and packing process to ensure that orders

are fulfilled quickly and accurately. Maintain high standards for product presentation

and packaging, reflecting our brand’s focus on fashion and quality.

● Logistics & Last-Mile Delivery: Coordinate with our logistics partners and in-house

delivery fleet to ensure seamless and timely dispatch. Proactively identify and resolve

any last-mile delivery issues.

● Quality & Compliance: Uphold stringent quality control standards for all products

and ensure the darkstore is compliant with all safety, hygiene, and company policies.

● Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and analyze key operational metrics and

performance data. Report on darkstore performance to senior management and use

insights to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

● Bachelor's degree

● 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse, or quick-commerce operations

role.Preferably from the fashion ecommerce domain. Nykaa/Myntra/amazon.

● Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and

motivate a high-performing team.

● Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to make informed operational

decisions.

● Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other e-commerce

software.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and demanding work environment.

● Strong understanding of the quick-commerce landscape.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
